Abundance Through Jesus’ Poverty by Joseph Prince

Abundance Through Jesus’ Poverty by Joseph Prince

2 Corinthians 8:9
9For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.

When we think of God, we think of the most powerful and richest being in the whole universe. But do you know that our Lord Jesus was actually born into a poor family? We know this from the offering His mother Mary brought to the temple after Jesus was born, according to the Law for purification. (Luke 2:22–24) She brought a pair of turtledoves or young pigeons, which was the only type of offering the poor could afford. (Leviticus 12:2, 8)

But with Jesus in their lives, Mary and her husband Joseph didn’t remain poor. Wise men came to Jesus with treasures — “And when they had come into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshiped Him. And when they had opened their treasures, they presented gifts to Him: gold, frankincense, and myrrh.” (Matthew 2:11)

Jesus’ presence brought gold, frankincense and myrrh — two of the most expensive spices — to His family. The wise men must have come with quite an entourage for the Bible records how all Jerusalem was fearful when the wise men came to the city. (Matthew 2:3) Can you imagine the amount of gold, frankincense and myrrh which accompanied that entourage, and which was given to Jesus’ parents?

My friend, the moment you are born again, you have Jesus in your life. And when you have Him in your life, get ready for His abundant supply to come your way! But don’t look for the blessings, look to Jesus — He is the power to get wealth. (Deuteronomy 8:18) The presence of the Son of the living God in your life attracts good things. Because of His grace toward us, Jesus, though He was rich, was made poor at the cross for your sake so that “you through His poverty might become rich”.

Beloved, when you have Jesus in your life and when you know that He has paid the price for your abundance, you can boldly declare, “Jesus was made poor at the cross for my sake so that through His poverty, I am made rich in all things!”

See Your Situation Through God’s Eyes by Joseph Prince

See Your Situation Through God’s Eyes by Joseph Prince

Psalm 1:3
3He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither;and whatever he does shall prosper.

When darkness covered the face of the earth, God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. (Genesis 1:3) When a certain man paralyzed for 38 years lay helpless at the pool of Bethesda, Jesus said, “Rise, take up your bed and walk,” and immediately, the man was healed, took up his bed and walked. (John 5:8–9)

You don’t say such words unless you see something others don’t. God does not see the way man sees. Man, however, must see the way God sees. We must see the vision of the Almighty.

The prophet Balaam saw the vision of the Almighty when the Spirit of God fell on him. As he looked down from a mountain at the camp of the Israelites, he found himself saying, “How lovely are your tents, O Jacob! Your dwellings, O Israel! Like valleys that stretch out, like gardens by the riverside, like aloes planted by the Lord, like cedars beside the waters.” (Numbers 24:5–6)

Balaam would not have said this unless he saw Israel not in the natural, but as God saw it. At that time, the Israelites were a discontented lot, always murmuring and complaining in the wilderness. But when God looked at them, He saw them like flourishing gardens planted by the rivers — fruitful and prosperous.

Beloved, God wants you to see yourself the way He sees you — “like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper”. So see yourself like a tree planted by the rivers of water, bringing forth fruit in your season. See yourself as one who will not wither, whose health will not fail. See whatever you do prospering!

See the vision of the Almighty. That vision is always a good vision. Whenever you see your situation through God’s eyes, you will find that your situation will change because when you see as He sees, you allow Him to work as the Almighty in your life!

Don’t Look Around, Look Up! By Joseph Prince

You shall make a window for the ark, and you shall finish it to a cubit from above…
Genesis 6:16

Don’t Look Around, Look Up!
By Joseph Prince

If you were to build a large ship, where would you put the windows? Most likely, you would put them at the sides of the ship so that the passengers and crew can look outside, wouldn’t you? God, on the other hand, told Noah to put the window of the ark at the top. God said, “You shall make a window for the ark, and you shall finish it to a cubit from above…”

I believe that God didn’t want the ark to have windows at the sides for three reasons. First, God didn’t want Noah and his family to hear all the mockery of the people outside: “Noah’s building a boat on dry land. Silly old man!” Second, He didn’t want Noah and his family to look at all the corruption and pollution on the outside either. Lastly, God didn’t want Noah and his family to look at the death and destruction all around them. He wanted them to look up—toward heaven, toward Him.

My friend, it’s the same for you today. God doesn’t want you to focus on the naysayers, who may mock the dreams that He has birthed in your heart. He doesn’t want you to focus on the death and destruction that’s happening in the world and become afraid. God wants you to look upwards to Him. He is your peace, your provider, your healer, your protection, your refuge—He is your true ark! Keep looking to Jesus and you will be at rest and enjoy His blessings no matter what is happening all around you today!

A Matter Of Spirit By Joseph Prince

For years, The Spirit has always been there to point me to the right "truth" of who and what our Almighty God really is.

In this mad, fallen world.

I could be alone.

Even if will be surrounded with lots of friends and relatives or families,
emptiness will never stop poking me.

But alas!

I kept praying Jesus to guide me always. No matter what.

And forward to this day, a veil has been taken out.

I realised, you could do whatever you like in this world (I'm talking about good and positive things here. Or if you've done something as a mistake. Do not worry. As long as you keep Jesus in your heart. He will fix it for you) for the truth that sets you free from all fears is knowing that God is your heavenly Father and He wants a solid and unshakeable relationship with you.

If you are not there yet,
do not be frustrated. We, as Christians are always work in progess.

I suggest, you ask Jesus to always guide you. Do not always depende on feelings if He is there or not cuz feelings deceive.

Sharing another powerful devotional from Joseph Prince.

Be blessed everyone!

God sent forth His Son…to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.
Galatians 4:4–5

A Matter Of Spirit
By Joseph Prince

As an heir of God, you have a rich inheritance. All the blessings of your heavenly Father are yours!

“Well, Pastor Prince, if it’s true that I am an heir of God because I’m His son, then why am I still not seeing the blessings?”

I asked the Lord the same question once. I said, “Lord, why is it that there are believers who don’t seem to be blessed despite the fact that they are Your sons and heirs?” The Lord said this to me, “It’s a matter of spirit.” Then, He pointed me to Romans 8:15, NIV—“For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry, ‘Abba, Father.’” He was telling me that walking in His blessings has to do with having a spirit of sonship.

How does the spirit of sonship operate? By the cry, “Abba, Father!” The Holy Spirit left the word Abba, meaning “Daddy” or “Papa,” untranslated in Romans 8:15 so that we will know that God wants us to have an intimate relationship with Him. Seeing God as Daddy and calling Him “Daddy” or “Papa” removes any distance and breaks down every barrier between you and God. It brings you into an intimate relationship with God and that’s how the spirit of sonship operates.

So beloved, have a spirit of sonship. Don’t see God as an impersonal, distant being who doesn’t really care how you feel. He isn’t just Almighty God, He is also your Daddy! Have this sense of intimacy with Him all the time and start to walk in a greater measure of your Daddy’s blessings!

Creation Can’t But Redemption Can! by Joseph Prince

Creation Can’t But Redemption Can! by Joseph Prince

John 9:7
7And He said to him, “Go, wash in the pool of Siloam” (which is translated, Sent). So he went and washed, and came back seeing.

When Adam sinned and fell, everything about creation fell. Yet, people today are still putting their trust in creation. For example, they try to become healthy by eating what is called the “Eden diet” — vegetables and no meat. They are acting as if creation did not fall. They also forget that there are people who eat well and exercise regularly, and still drop dead in the prime of their lives!

Thank God that what creation cannot do, redemption can and did. Jesus demonstrated this when He spat on the ground, made clay with the saliva and put it on a blind man’s eyes. (John 9:6–7) Now, it is certainly unusual to put clay on a blind man’s eyes because he would become doubly blind!

So why did Jesus do that?

He was demonstrating to us that all our body parts come from the ground and that because creation is fallen, the work of creation cannot open a blind man’s eyes. But the work of redemption can! That is why He sent the blind man to the pool of Siloam. The word “Siloam” means “Sent”, referring to the sent one, Jesus. When the blind man washed his eyes in the pool of the sent one, he received supernatural healing for his eyes.

Beloved, when we go to Jesus, the sent one who came to redeem us with the price of His blood, and we rest in His finished work, we will receive the miracle we need. If we believe that by His stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), we will have greater health than those who trust in creation.

Jesus was sent to redeem us from every curse that came upon creation with the fall of Adam. (Galatians 3:13) He has redeemed us from sickness, pain, sorrow, depression, poverty and even death. The world may know Him as the Creator. But today, we know Him as our Redeemer. Where the work of creation cannot save us, His work of redemption can and has!

Called From Your Mother’s Womb By Joseph Prince

Called From Your Mother’s Womb
By Joseph Prince

Galatians 1:15
15... God, who separated me from my mother’s womb and called me through His grace,

Beloved, you are not an accident with no destiny. God has called you from your mother’s womb. You have a special calling and a destiny in Christ, and it is all by His grace!

There are Christians who are called by God to be doctors. But I believe that among them are those separated from their mothers’ wombs for the healing ministry. They are passionate about seeking cures to alleviate the sufferings of humanity.

Likewise, I think that there are Christians who are called by God to be teachers in secular schools. But among them are those separated from their mothers’ wombs to be Bible teachers. What gives them tremendous fulfillment is seeing lives saved and transformed under their teaching.

What about those famous magicians you see performing tricks on television? They have a love for the mystical and supernatural. If they were to become Christians, they might just become prophets with ministries marked by the miraculous!

The apostle Paul knew that he was called from his mother’s womb. He had a misguided passion for God though, as he was persecuting the church, until he had his encounter with Jesus. (Acts 8:3, 9:1–6)

If Paul, a terrorist to the early church, could be touched by Christ to become an apostle of grace, what about today’s terrorists who blow up people in the name of their god? For all you know, if they receive Christ, they might just become trailblazers in the kingdom of God!

Now, don’t think that your calling has to do with your qualifications, abilities, achievements or even your walk with God. You were called from your mother’s womb by His grace. As a fetus in your mother’s womb, there was not much you could do — good or bad. That is why your calling is all by His grace. And since He has given you a calling, ask the Holy Spirit to help you discern the desires that He has placed in your heart, the passions that drive you in life, and fulfill your calling and destiny in Christ!

Confused Christian?

Well, I am not so familiar with this guy. I only come to see his page when I saw this on my newsfeed.

Joseph Prince is my pastor.
Firstly, our pastor Joseph Prince has told us, if ever we find some bad articles about him on the news or web telling that he is like this and like that, we should never get angry nor defend him. Instead, he keeps pointing us to back to Jesus. Our finisher of faith. That no matter what, at the end of the day, we all would be dealing with Him anyway.

In my journey as a Christian,
I have seen some pastors gossiping or telling or judging another pastor if it doesn't coincide with their beliefs.
Some would even spend time writing an article (just like what this guy is doing) to make other people doubt another them. Or make bad his name.
This style has been going on for years. Even Jesus was judged. Who would escape from that wrath?

Joseph Prince is different.
He doesnt spend his time writing an article about someone or pastors. However, he boldly address them in public in general.
You see,
as a true Christian we shouldn't go on judging whether someone is a true preacher or whether he is teaching the true gospel.
Because that is not our job.
Although, we sometimes get confused. It's alright.
But don't let some truths of another becomes a lie or vice versa.
We are not suppose to spend our time on that.

What you should do?

Simple.

Just talk it out to Jesus!

The Holy Spirit will guide you.

If you feel at peace in some truth.

Seek it.

If you are uncomfortable with your truth, seek God's leading.

That simple.

Joseph Prince is one pastor that I admire so much not because he is my pastor. But because he knows our awesome God.

He keeps leading and pointing me back to Jesus.

Because Jesus is the answer to all of your questions.

Once you are settled with that truth,
Man! You can live in this world free of fears, anxities, worries because
you live in the truth that someone up there loves you so and that
He will never forsake or leave you!

Yes, dear friends.

Let God's truth set you free!

Talk to Him about it.

Talk to Him about your doubts and all.

Discuss and argue with Him.

He loves it.

Goodnight everyone!

Talk soon♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
